Our goal in student ministry at Mount Carmel is to engage students in community, grow our faith together, and be anchored to Christ.

Jr. High and High School students are at an integral point in their growth and development. There is a lot of "noise" in the world and we want students to know they are loved and there are people who want to help them walk life's journey. We want to connect students as soon as they walk in our doors and create a place where they can either come to know Jesus for the first time or grow deeper in their faith.

  • We strive to make students feel safe, valued and loved.
  • We have a team of volunteers that care deeply about our students.
  • We desire to be a reinforcement to what parents are doing/teaching at home.

Sunday Morning Experience

Students in 7th-12th grade meet in a large group at 11:00 AM every Sunday morning in the Student Center. We worship together through music, communion, offering and a message time.

Sunday Evening Experience

Students meet on Sunday evenings in smaller groups by age and gender, which helps create an organic space for conversation. These Anchor Groups meet Sunday evenings from 5:00-7:00 PM.

Frequently Asked Questions

Students need to know that they are known, valued and loved. We need volunteers to help make that happen. Every student in this world needs to know that they have adults standing in their corner.

We have many ways to serve in Student Ministries:

  • Anchor Group leader
  • Serve through leading music etc.

You bet! Students can grow in faith at an accelerated rate by attending retreats and conference. We go to several retreats/conferences throughout the year specific to either Jr. High or High School.
