Mount Carmel Christian Church and Parkside Christian Church will be traveling to Houston, Texas on Saturday, July 14th through July 21st. Our combined efforts will aid individuals and families who were affected and displaced from their homes by Hurricane Harvey in August of 2017.

We have found from our previous trips that the recovery process can take multiple years for some families. When the news stations and charities turn their attention to more current needs, the church fills the gap and finishes the job.

We will be completing demolition, construction, and clean-up tasks. No matter your skill level, we're confident that you can make a significant impact as part of our team.

If you have any questions about the trip or registration, please contact Aaron Adams or Tim Pride at Mount Carmel. We'll get you more information as soon as we can. Once you register, you will be contacted with additional steps and planning materials on a regular basis as the trip approaches.

The “4B Area” is our target geography where we will mobilize a network of churches and volunteers to reflect the gospel of Jesus Christ by serving people affected by disasters. The 4B area is from Beltway 8 to the north, Galveston Beach to the south, Brazoria County to the west and the Galveston Bay to the east.
